No experiments! Today we’re keeping things solid and letting ourselves be convinced by the still‑existing better sides of the R&B department. Naturally, you can’t do it without soul, and of course you also can’t do it without the ability and talent to present that soul in the most effective way. Fair enough. – With those very qualities, TERI TOBIN is richly blessed. A big voice, well‑crafted songs that never lack that certain extra something. As a preview of the new album ForeverMORE, there’s a classic A/B‑side single… and enough soul for two. – The already very positively mentioned couple Ivana and Filip Hunter have truly mastered the art of enhancing contemporary R&B sounds with their own ideas. The same applies to the new THREETWENTY single “Could It Be Love” — and we’re sure there’s even more potential waiting to unfold. – Another duo: from Atlanta, Noah Sills and Tad Adams come to us as ARKOSE. Until now, we somehow never took note of their music (for whatever reason). So the songs presented today are already a few weeks or months old, but of course they haven’t lost an ounce of their impact. Superior soul‑groove, a perfectly balanced mid‑tempo foundation, and congenial melodic lines. To round things off, a portion of jazz is essential. Exactly our thing. – MISHA is the man for the easy hip swing. Every beat a hit. The formula repeats itself now with “Skyline”, another track from an upcoming album. Perfectly styled, smoothly flowing groove, catchy hooks. JUSSI HALME and singer RELYAE contribute significantly to the good vibes. And off we go!

Keine Experimente! Heute bleiben wir mal ganz solide, und lassen uns von den immer noch vorkommenden besseren Seiten der RnB -Abteilung überzeugen. Ohne Soul geht’s selbstverständlich nicht, ohne die Fähigkeiten und Talente, diese möglichst wirkungsvoll in Szene zu setzen, natürlich auch nicht. Na gut. Mit den eben genannten Eigenschaften ist eine TERI TOBIN in hohem Maße gesegnet. Große Stimme, gediegene Songs, denen es nie an dem gewissen Extra mangelt. Als Vorboten zum neuen Album „ForeverMORE“ gibt’s einen klassische Single mit A/B Seite…und ausreichend Soul für 2. – Das von uns schon positivst erwähnte Ehepaar Ivana und Filip Hunter haben den Dreh raus, wenn es gilt tagesaktuelle RnB Sounds mit eigenen Ideen wirkungsvoll zu ergänzen. Gilt so auch für die neue THREETWENTY Single „Could It Be Love“ – wir sind sicher, dass da aber noch mehr drin ist. – Noch ein Duo. Aus Atlanta kommen Noah Sills und Tad Adams als ARKOSE zu uns. Daher sind die heute zu Vortrag kommenden Songs schon ein paar Wochen/Monate alt, haben aber natürlich von ihrer Wirkung keinen Deut eingebüßt. Überlegener Soul-Groove, ganz ausgewogene Midtempo-Basis und kongeniale Tonfolgen dazu. Zur Abrundung darf die Portion Jazz nicht fehlen. Ganz unsere Sache. – MISHA ist der Mann für den lockeren Hüftschwung. Jeder Beat ein Hit. Das Prinzip wiederholt sich jetzt mit „Skyline“, einem weiteren Titel aus einem bevorstehenden Album.
